Former Portland attorney Michael Shinn begins jail time after victim shows he wasn’t booked

Eric Rhodes, who has pressed his case against Michael Shinn for years, called the district attorney’s office and the Multnomah County Circuit judge who sentenced Shinn, telling them of the postponement. Finally, on July 9, the once-prominent lawyer who pleaded no contest last month to a first-degree theft charge went directly to jail.
